		<description>Looks like ornamental onions.  I have seen them 4-5 feet tall.
Ornamental Onion is a part of the Allium family, it's close relatives include the familiar grocery store onion, garlic, shallot, chives, and leeks. 
I have a clump of chive I grow just to let flower every year.  A soft purple (lavendar) colour that adds to the vegetable garden.</description>
